Are there any moorings or pontoon berths available for the coming season?
All our floating berths and moorings are contracted to customers on an annual or seasonal basis. The renewals for these contracts are done in January each year. Until then we can add your name to the waiting list. We can always offer new customers dry berthing contracts on an annual or seasonal basis.
do you have a waiting list for berths and moorings?
Yes we do. We have a waiting list for the different berth and mooring sizes so length is essential when you apply to be added to the waiting list. On average the wait for a berth is around 2-3 years minimum.
What time will my boat be launched/hauled out on the day of the lift?
If you have booked a lift in or out of the water you will have had a date confirmed. The time of your lift will be dependent on the tidal heights and the other boats that are due to be lifted that day. If timing is crucial please give the office a call on 01326 372121.
Is the water taxi running today?
If the Water Taxi is not alongside it will be taking/picking people up. It will always return back to the same spot unless there are adverse weather conditions. If the taxi is not running due to extreme weather we will try to inform people before they arrive using Facebook or this website.
Where can I park my car?
The pay and display car park covers the whole site including the valley and Admiralty Quay. Do not obstruct the waterfront or the hoist dock and slipways at any time in case of emergencies.
How do I access the WiFi?
The WiFi onsite is available to everyone on an unsecured network. There is no code or password to use it. It should show up on your computer's search for wireless networks as MYH.
What is the shower block code?
The shower block, situated in the main car park behind the Ancasta office, is for customer and visiting yachts persons only. The code will be given to you on payment of your berthing fees or contracts at the beginning of the season. If we change the code, all customers will be notified of the change.
What are the charges for using the public slipway?
The public slipway alongside the Admiralty Quay, is owned by Cornwall Council. It is unmanned and there is no charge for using this slipway. Boat owners use the slipway at their own risk. Car park tickets can be obtained from the tickets machines or main harbour office and trailer passes from the main harbour office.
