Planks and ribs
In the older wooden boats there may come a time when some of the planks need to be replaced or the old ribs need to be removed and made good to maintain the strength of the hull structure.
Mylor's boat builders and shipwrights have years of experience of doing such jobs and their results can still be seen holding strong today!
It is a very delicate process that needs a dedicated and careful team to remove the old and damaged wood and replace like for like.
