Service and maintenance

Anodes

• Annual check and repair/replace as necessary whilst vessel is ashore.

Antifouling

• Apply 2 coats of the required antifouling, and supply the paint as required.

Bilges

• Clean out and dry bilges.

Boot top

• Mask up and paint in the boot top line as required.

Bungs

• Remove and/or refit as required.

Cleaning

• Wash down and scrub the decks and/or topsides and/or superstructure as required.

Cover

• Rig strong back (if appropriate) and cover down or remove cover and strong back (if appropriate) and store.

Dinghy

• Remove from the pontoon/beach and store, or remove from store and replace on pontoon/beach.

Electricity

• Supply connection, supply cable if required, connect and read meter, take regular meter readings, supply dehumidifier if required and/or connect, and disconnect all of the above.

Fuel tanks

• Fill tanks prior to haul out or after launch.

Gas bottles

• Remove and store for winter or replace on vessel prior to seasonal relaunch.

Heads

• Strip, clean and service heads.

Polish

• Compound and polish the topsides and/or decking and/or superstructure as required.

Pressure wash

Seacocks

• Strip, clean and service Blakes seacocks, and/or check and lubricate non-maintenance Hatersley (or similar) Ball Valves.

Strop

• Make up soft mooring strop or bridle and/or remove owner’s strop for winter storage/refit to mooring after the winter.

Toilet

• Strip, clean and service toilets.

Water tanks

• Fill tanks after launch.

Waterline paint

• Mask up and paint in the waterline as required.

Windlass

• Strip, clean and service.
