Re-decking

Teak decks

A thing of beauty and much admired, particularly by those who don’t have them, however, they are costly items. This was a re-decking and involved much detailed work in the finishing around hatches and new fittings that the owner requested. The scope of this also went into the cockpit sole, seating, foredeck and all other flat areas, and was one of the finest that we have done. Truly exceptional results.

Replace large areas of the coach roof structure of the vessel

Timber

Similar in nature to the teak decks, yet much more difficult is the construction of structures like this. This was part of a renovation project to replace large areas of the coach roof structure of the vessel. In order to gain the delicate shape of the forward coach roof, this had been laid down in timber strips with little or no attention to finishing as it was to be sheathed. The new owner changed this and wanted a traditional finish.

An International 12 m yacht of 67 foot length

Timber damage repair

This was one of the finest bows we have had the opportunity to work on. An International 12 m yacht of 67 foot length, she had suffered significant damage to the decking in way of the fairleads – large chunks had been broken off in a storm. We were charged with re-furbishing it back to a good and sound structural condition and these were the final results.
