Boatyard services
Our GRP team carry out a variety of laminate, gel and epoxy work including: Touching up small scratches in the gel coat Laminate repairs following a collision Glassing in bow thruster and stern thruster tubes
Car parking
Parking is available on the Admiralty Quay, in the Main Car Park and up the Valley. Parking is included for all contract holders, and is pay and display for visitors, either using the machines provided, or by buying a ticket in the main harbour office.
Drying Out
Boat owners wishing to dry out alongside the wall or on the Eastern shore can book this facility by contacting our mooring staff on 01326 372121 or visiting the harbour office.
Electricty
Electricity is provided afloat by way of £1, £5 and £10 electricity cards which are inserted into the bollards provided on the pontoons. Electricity ashore can be purchased by the day or metered for longer periods.
Engineering and electrical
Marine Trak Engineering offers a full service range for mechanical and electrical engineering, both here on site at Mylor Yacht Harbour and at other boat yards where on-site engineering services are not available.
Fuel
Our fuel station on the visitor pontoon stocks unleaded petrol and marine diesel for our berth holders and visitors. If there is no one in attendance on the pumps please call "Mylor Yacht Harbour" on VHF ch 37/80. Do not use mobile phones when alongside the fuel pontoon.
Laundrette
There is a coin-operated launderette on site with washing machines and tumble dryers. Please note however that these are for domestic washing only and not for warps, lines and sails. We would be most grateful if non-biological powder were used in this facility. A wash cycle is £2.50, and a dry cycle 50p.
public slipway
We are pleased to offer visitors free use of the public slipway next to the Admiralty Quay. Use of the slipway is at your own discretion. Tide tables for your reference are available free of charge in the main harbour office. Please see our price list for the prevailing rate for parking and trailer storage. It is advisable to not use the slipway LW +- 2hrs.
recycling and hazardous waste disposal
There are recycling, general and hazardous waste bins on site in the main car park. Please recycle everything you can. Out of date flares can be disposed of by contacting the coastguard 01326 317 575 or the local police. We have a waste oil bin and battery disposal container near to the main office.
showers
We are happy to provide a shower block facility for berth holders and visitors to Mylor. There is a key code at the entrance of the shower block. The code is available from the main harbour office. There are also Public WC facilities for visitors on site, next to the Mylor Yacht Club building.
Trailer parking
Trailers can be parked at the top of the Valley in the trailer park area. Please see signs on site for guidance. Tickets for trailers can be obtained at the main harbour office. The cost is £3.00/day, £15.00/week, £40.00/month and £160/annum.
