Fal River Festival 2020
Join in the celebrations with The Greenbank Fal River Festival 2020.
The Fal River Festival is a 10 day, not-for-profit community celebration of life in and around and on the Fal River.
Join in the celebrations in the beautiful harbour town of Falmouth with over 150 events taking place across various location and even on the water. From music & drama, the arts & heritage to gig racing, swimming, walking & lots more, there is something for everyone both landlubbers and salty sea dogs alike
The festival is traditionally launched by the ceremonial passage of sailing of the beer fleet up the Fal River to Truro and back with Skinners Brewery’s Betty Stoggs leading the parade – certainly something to see.
The festival was established in 2006 and will be running for its 14th year in 2019. It’s a chance to embrace the places, people, history, culture, sport & industry that are connected by this very Cornish river. This year the festival is proudly sponsored by the Greenbank Hotel.
