A small local oyster festival. Join the local oyster men on their last weekend of the season and sample fresh seafood cooked by local and internationally recognised chefs.
The first ‘gathering’ in Cornwall’s food festival calendar is also the celebration of the end of the Fal Oyster fishing season and having travelled from its home in Mylor Yacht Harbour, via Flushing Quay it is hosted on Custom House Quay, Falmouth. The Fisherman’s Mission will be shaking their buckets as our nominated charity!
The host is Chris Ranger form Fal Oyster Ltd. – “Its an outdoor street food banquet, where you can sit with family and friends, enjoy a starter, then a main and then a pudding along with a drink from the bar – all from different traders! – we will have our Pop Up Pound (PU£) where you can by 5PU£ for £4, saving you 20% when you spend it with our traders over the 4 day gathering”
From the freshest wild Cornish Native Fal Oysters, served at the #ShellfishBRUT Bar alongside Camel Valley Sparkling BRUT, Rebel Brewery Fal Oyster Stout and Skinners Pennycomequick. And we will also have Knightor Wines, Dynamite Valley and Black Rock Breweries this year!
