St Mawes Boat Show 2015

The picturesque Cornish harbour of St Mawes plays host to its first boat show which will see marine-related and maritime businesses from across Falmouth, Roseland and the Carrick Roads come together to exhibit – including boat-builders and technicians, ferry companies and water-sports experts will be displaying their talents and wares, bound up with a festival of fabulous local food, drink and live music and entertainment.
Over the two days our own Marine Team experts will be showcasing the range of skills offered in Mylor’s boatyard to include our shipwrights who will be demonstrating the techniques involved in laying a classic teak foredeck of a boat and our engineers who will strip down and service a Yanmar inboard engine.
A further example of Mylor’s classic skills will be on display in the form of the Sunbeam yacht “Milly” – Mylor being the only yard in recent years to build new, wooden Sunbeams on exactly the same lines as the Class’s ninety year old originals.
