Polperro Festival 15th - 22nd June 2019. Traditional week long Cornish fishing community festival which takes place in the heart of a Cornish fishing Village on the south coast of Cornwall. This free community festival includes live music, an arts and crafts fair, a comedy night, and the lighting of the solstice bonfire. There is also the colourful village carnival and a unique and long-standing tradition of the mock mayor choosing ceremony with the winner being wheeled through the town, stopping at each inn before finally being dunked in the sea!Find out more »

Fowey Royal Sailing Regatta and Carnival Week: 18-24 August 2019. One of the country’s best known and loved sailing regattas in Cornwall attracting thousands of visitors. This week long celebration includes the traditional carnival procession, impressive fireworks displays, crab catching competition, harbour swim, giant pasty ceremony (not to be missed) plus live music every night on the town quay.
There is also a full programme of races including the famous Troys – a class of sailing boat built only in Fowey.
The 95th Sunbeam Championships 5th - 8th September 2019. Hosted by St Mawes Sailing Club in celebration of the anniversary of the Sunbeams being established as a individual class in Falmouth this week with a series of races being held in the Carrick Roads.Find out more »
