Summer is always a busy time in Cornwall, especially during the school holidays, there is always lots of events happening to suite everyone.
Over the past couple of years we have been blessed with some amazing weather which has carried on well into September. If that is anything to go by, this year’s summer could be a scorcher and what better way to enjoy it than being in a beautiful location by the sea.
As Cornwall is the UK’s most southerly point we get longer daylight hours which means you’re able to squeeze more into your holiday.
In the summer it doesn’t really get dark until around 10pm giving you the perfect opportunity for an evening BBQ on the beach, a boat trip along the tranquil rivers and creeks of the Carrick Roads or just to sit on the quayside with a glass of wine while you watch the sun set over the fields.
