Project Management and Aftercare

Whether you are a marine professional or a boating enthusiast wanting to commission a comprehensive boat refit, structural repair, or complete restoration, finding the right mix of skills and price can be difficult.

At Mylor Yacht Harbour, not only do we have all the necessary skills on site for such projects both large and small but we also believe in offering our customers the best experience possible. Boat projects often can be long term and expensive investments for boat owners that come with the need for ensuring that any project comes in on budget, within the required timescale and with the right results which can be time consuming and demanding for any boat owner.

In order to take care of all these matters, we have our own on-site Project Manager, Henry Goldsmith, who is dedicated to managing large projects and comprehensive boat refits on behalf of customers. Henry can assist in everything from initial advice and planning through to detailed specification and organisation of work. He is also there to monitor and control activity on your project, provide feedback on progress and will ensure that everything is going to plan on the specification you have agreed and to the quality standard you would expect. There are no additional or hidden costs of this service and the Project Manager’s primary objective is customer satisfaction.

Mylor Yacht Harbour’s Project Manager can provide:

  • A single point of contact
  • High standards
  • Peace of mind
  • Transparency & clarity
  • Quality of care

Keith Leeves, owner of Free Spirit:

“They’ve done a marvellous job; it’s like a brand new engine! I really can’t commend them enough, the whole team from the reception to the workshops. They have been so accommodating and always available if I have any queries – a terrific service all round.”

Jonathan Spencer, owner of Attitude of London:

“We wanted a small energetic yard that had a wide knowledge base but still felt like a family company. Early in the project we realised that the Mylor Marine Team felt getting the work right was as important to them as it was to us! It was a pleasure to work with them.”

Mylor is able to manage the entire process from initial enquiry to the return of a vessel and we’ll be on hand to answer any further queries after you’ve left the yard. You should expect nothing less than the best.
