Whether you are a marine professional with a fleet of vessels or a one man boat owner enthusiast, wanting to commission work, traditionally this can mean you are faced a difficult choice. Between big boatyards offering superb facilities and a wide range of specialist skills, but often dogged by poor job management and customer relations, resulting in delays, lack of feedback and misunderstandings over estimates and bills. Or ‘man in a van’ (or shed) businesses with a terrific reputation for a specific skill and offering a close and direct relationship, but having to sub-contract all of the other elements of the job, resulting in delays, lack of feedback and misunderstandings over estimates and bills…

We believe it is long past time for something better; a combination of the best that either can offer. We aim to provide that here at Mylor Yacht Harbour. And we have completely restructured our project management system to endeavour to live up to that belief.

Single point of contact
We’ll provide a single point of contact. One expert and knowledgeable person, who will discuss your requirements, answer your questions and manage the entire project for you, no matter how complex. In short, they’ll bear all of the hassle at no extra cost.

High Standards
The Marine Team provides an integrated and closely orchestrated workforce of highly experienced, highly qualified and enthusiastic marine technicians and craftspeople offering guaranteed standards of work.

And taking care of you
Our concern for quality of care doesn’t end when the work sails out of the yard, either.
Aftercare begins with the handover of the boat or equipment, cleaned and tidy. We pride ourselves on our aftercare services.

Taking the time
Your project manager and our expert technicians responsible for any repairs or installations will show you the work completed, explain and demonstrate how any new parts function, answer any questions you may have and provide you with any manuals.

Regular updated progress reports, immediate liaison and advice on any changes or challenges from your project manager, who will be there on the end of the phone or available by email to answer any queries. We promise you complete transparency. Clear and unambiguous quoting, realistic pricing and invoicing.

Quality of care
Whether it is in for a simple wash down or a complete refit, we will look after your boat as if it were our own. This is an evolution for us – but we think it represents a revolution for the industry. Your project manager will be on hand to answer any further queries after you’ve left the yard, we’re just a phone call away. If we can’t diagnose and solve them quickly over the phone – we’ll be there to fix them as soon as possible. You should expect nothing less than the best.
