Rosie’s Owner is Delighted with her Repair

Rosie the Cornish Yawl being relaunched after storm damage repair work at Mylor Yacht Harbour

Rosie’s owner was delighted with the work completed by our Marine Team technicians after receiving storm damage over the summer.

The beautiful Rosie, a Cornish Yawl, required some GRP repairs to her hull and topsides, gel coat repairs on her deck, and repairs to her mast and a replacement of her stanchion bases and guard wires. Our Marine Team GRP technicians, shipwrights and painters worked tirelessly to make the repairs in good time, allowing the owner to enjoy the remaining part of the sailing season.

“I had been very concerned that we would miss a whole season of sailing, but everything was completed quickly, efficiently, and to a very high standard, in time for some early autumn sailing. This has been very much appreciated. It was a real joy to set sail again, with Rosie restored to her former glory. and it was a great reassurance to me to have confidence that Rosie is in their good hands.” said the owner.
