Mylor supports Falmouth Marine School Industry Day
This week saw members of Mylor’s Marine Team taking part in the Falmouth Marine School Industry Day 2021.
Each year Mylor Yacht Harbour, along with many companies from across the marine sector gather at Falmouth Marine School to give students the chance to explore possible career opportunities and work placements within the sector after their studies have finished.
Our Project Manager Ollie Graffy presented a talk to the students about the different trades and skills that we employ here in our full service boat yard in Cornwall and what facilities we have on site. The talk was a real success and received a positive reception from the students and staff.
Other members of our Marine Team, Service Manager Spike Riley and Lead Shipwright Giles Gilbert spent time engaging with students looking to get into the marine industry after completing their marine engineering and boatbuilding courses.
The day was a real success for all involved.
