We would like to give a huge congratulations to Tracey Boyne, who will be celebrating 20 years ownership of Mylor Sailing & Powerboat School on the 1st October.

Tracey’s dedication has made the business so successful, even earning them awards along the way.

We are very proud to have them as leaseholders at Mylor Yacht Harbour and look forward to the next 20 years!

Tracey will be having an open day on the 1st October at the sailing school, so if you’re passing why not pop in to celebrate with her and the team….we hear there will be cake 🍰

Mark Brannlund, who retired as Mylor Yacht Harbour`s Maintenance Supervisor last year, took this fabulous photo recently during a loop the loop in a Spitfire he was taking a ride in. He`s clearly missed us and was keen to see the Harbour`s beauty again from the air. Either that or he was setting things up for a strafing run……

✨THE A-Z OF MYLOR ✨

Meet the ‘A’ Team (left to right)

Anthony W is our GRP Specialist, and always cool and calm under pressure. When he’s not repairing your boats, you’ll find him surfing the waves on the North Coast.

Anthony D is our Seasonal Marina Assistant, he’s currently studying environmental resource management, pursuing a master’s degree in sustainable marine propulsion technologies – that’ll give you something to talk about when he next picks you up in the golf buggy!

Adam (aka Barney) is our Yard Operative, and an integral part of the yard team. He’s laid back with a wicked sense of humour…and if there’s a party, he’ll be the first one on the dancefloor.

Alice is our Yard Administrator and brings lots of fun to the office. She might accidentally wear her slippers to work but organises the lifting schedule to perfection.

Andrew is our Water Taxi Skipper and part of the team during the busy season. If he’s not on the water working, he’s sailing his own boat, so is a permanent fixture in the harbour.

Don’t forget to say hello when you see them.

Mylor Yacht Harbour are delighted to have supplied a Vetus E-Line electric propulsion system to our on-site tenants Mylor Boat Hire, adding quiet, zero-emission performance to their fleet of hire boats.
Mylor’s Marine Engineers and Electricians carried out commissioning and sea trials with the team from Vetus UK to make sure everything was ready for reliable operation.
With the whisper quiet motor and the near flat calm seas, it was an incredibly peaceful sea trial with the team almost afraid to speak in case they disturbed the tranquillity of the moment. Even Nathan stopped talking for a little bit……..
