Getting your boat ready for the spring can be exciting for boat owners as it brings the anticipation of a long awaited sailing season and in these current times we all need something to look forward to.
Although we are seeing a positive change in the easing of restrictions it may still be tricky for you to get all of the necessary prep work completed on your boat before your booked launch date.

ANTIFOUL
Correct antifoul application to your boat each year can improve a vessels performance and durability by acting as a barrier against corrosion and to slow the growth of organisms that attach to the hull. Antifouling should be part of your annual maintenance schedule whether your vessel is a leisure cruiser, fishing vessel or high performance racing yacht.
Our yard team can prepare and antifoul your boat for you using top quality products from International and Hempel for long lasting protection.
Preparation
- The hull will be properly prepared before applying the antifouling paint, it is pressure washed thoroughly and any loose antifoul is removed. This will give a good base for the anti-foul to adhere to.
Application
- Antifouling is a hazardous chemical paint that is highly toxic. All of our staff are trained and use appropriate protective equipment.
As standard we apply two coats of antifoul paint to the hull to ensure a good even covering.
Boot Top
- To finish off the water line a boot top paint can be applied. This is a harder antifoul paint that can easily be scrubbed throughout the season to prevent the build-up of scum and fouling close to the surface of the water.

Prices quoted below are inclusive of VAT and are based specifically on the use of Hempel antifoul products as shown. Other products such as International can be used upon request but will need to be quoted for.
