UNIQUE: MYLOR’S MARINE SHOWROOM OPENS

Mylor Yacht Harbour has opened a showroom that stocks the latest marine technology and offers expert advice.

The new showroom is a specialist outlet dedicated to marine engineering and servicing. It gives boat owners the opportunity to talk to mechanical experts, order parts and explore the latest technology and equipment such as the AIS GPS system.

The local harbour launched the Marine Team’s Parts and Showroom on July 4 during an open afternoon that welcomed over 50 guests including boat owners and suppliers.

The party allowed guests to ask advice from Mylor’s Marine Team together with representatives from certified dealership and instillations brands. Guests could also examine the latest marine engines, parts and finishes.

Yacht owner Mike Clark was a guest at the launch.

“We have been delighted with the service provided by Mylor Yacht Harbour over the past 5 years and the new parts facility and showroom are a welcome addition to the existing specialist services provided by the Marine Team. As a retired Architect I was impressed with the design of the showroom which comes as an added bonus.”

Nathan Percival, Marine Team Engineering Manager stresses the value of the new venture.

“The showroom is totally unique in the area. Customers can study marine engines, refrigeration and heating systems, bow thrusters and service parts for all leading brands. They can consult our staff and make sure that they get exactly what they need.”

The showroom is open to professionals and the public alike from Mon – Friday 8.30am – 5pm.
