Francesca of Fowey Looks ‘Good as New’ After her Facelift at Mylor Yacht Harbour
Francesca of Fowey’s owners decided it was time to give their beloved Mystery 35 Yacht some well-deserved TLC. After 14 years her topsides looked tired and her Coppercoat had started to flake off.
They enlisted the services of Mylor Yacht Harbour’s painters and GRP technicians having seen the quality of their workmanship first-hand as resident berth holders in the Marina.
Francesca’s hull was sanded back, and a small amount of filling and fairing carried out. Her existing Coppercoat was then ‘keyed up’ in preparation for application of an additional four coats of Coppercoat, carried out by our GRP technicians, while her topsides received a full respray by our skilled painters, resulting in a very clean, blue finish.
“I’m really happy with the quality and finish of the work carried out by Mylor Yacht Harbour Services. She looks even better than when we bought her new.” said owner, Charles Griffiths.
As well as having new aesthetically pleasing topsides, Francesca of Fowey’s Coppercoat will provide long lasting keel protection against heavy fouling, growth and barnacles. Coppercoat is easy to maintain, cost effective and will last for many seasons.

Mr. and Mrs. Griffiths have used several other services offered by Mylor’s Marine Team, including engine-servicing, exhaust replacement and dinghy repairs.
