Customer Update_ 2nd November 2020

Good Afternoon

Just a quick update on how the new lockdown restrictions set out over the weekend will affect operations at Mylor Yacht Harbour. In order to comply with the new guidelines, we will be closing the main office, marina office and showroom from Thursday 5th November but fortunately will be able to continue to operate the vast majority of on-site services as close to normal as possible:

  • Lifting and launching – operations will continue as normal, so if you have a lift or launch booked, this will go ahead as planned. If there are any changes to this, we will contact any customer that may be affected.
  • Engineering, Electrical, Shipwright, GRP and Painting work will continue to take place with all booked and scheduled work continuing.
  • The offices and the showroom will be closed but staff will still be present to answer phones, emails and deal with enquiries and the services administration.
  • We are still able to book and advise on any work that needs doing and can do this by phone or email.

Although most on site services will be operating, from Thursday 5th November the marina will be closed to overnight visitors, the facilities block will also be closed and the holiday apartments, fuel supply and water taxi services will be suspended.

However, please do not hesitate to contact us by email or phone if you need anything for your boat or if anything needs checking – we’ll be very happy to do this for you but please follow the guidelines, avoid non-essential travel and stay at home. If you take care of yourself, we’ll take care of your boat.

This is the situation as we find it today and we may have to adapt to changing guidelines and circumstances as they arise but we’ll keep you posted on any updates or changes to services.

If you have any questions or concerns, please call 01326 372121 or email enquiries@mylor.com

Best regards
