St Piran’s Day – the national day of Cornwall held on the 5th March every year. Named after the patron saint of Cornwall Saint Piran, also the patron saint of miners. There will be celebrations throughout Cornwall on and around March 5th to celebrate St Piran with a number of parades taking place across Cornish towns and villages.
