FRONT OF HOUSE ADMINISTRATOR 

Full time – 37.5 hours per week (Sunday – Thursday)
Salary up to £18K DOE

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced front of house administrator to join our busy team to provide high quality, effective and responsive administrative support to our services division.

The role includes:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
  • Providing a high quality, effective and responsive administrative support service.
  • Processing of customer enquiries both face to face and over the telephone.

The essential requirements for this position are an ability to deliver outstanding customer service, good computer literacy and effective communication skills. The successful candidate will also be well organised, flexible and able to integrate quickly into a small team.

Knowledge of the marine industry, boats and leisure craft is desirable but not essential for this role.

PURCHASING & SALES SUPERVISOR

Permanent / Full time.

An opportunity has arisen to join the team at Mylor Yacht Harbour as a Purchasing and Sales Supervisor supporting our engineering and shipwright services. The role includes the sourcing and purchasing of materials, stock control and retail parts and equipment sales.

The essential requirements for this position are an ability to deliver outstanding customer service, a good technical knowledge of boats and boating, computer literacy and the capability to develop customer and supplier relationships. The successful candidate will also be an effective communicator, well organised and able to implement improvements in stock control systems.

MARINA ASSISTANT

Seasonal – Full time (hours to include some evenings and weekends, increasing in the summer months)
Pay: £8.72 per hour

Mylor Yacht Harbour is a centre of excellence for the care and restoration of yachts and motor boats, as well as being one of the most prestigious facilities to keep a boat on a marina berth or swinging mooring in the south west. An opportunity has arisen to join our marina team as a Marina Assistant.

The key elements of this role are:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service and satisfaction
  • Assisting the yard team during the launching and lifting seasons
  • Lifting and stacking chocks and blocks
  • Moving and helping with the towing of customers’ boats
  • Helping customers into their berths
  • Listening for and responding to any calls on the VHF
  • Serving fuel
  • Servicing moorings
  • Creating invoices and taking payment
  • Resolving all manner of general enquiries
  • Carrying out general maintenance to the marina

Seasonal / Part Time to include weekends
Pay – £8.72 per hour

We are looking for a friendly, professional and organised person to join our team as Car Park Attendant.
The key elements of this role are:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service
  • Greeting visitors to the site and directing as required
  • Patrolling the site and assisting customers
  • Issuing and checking car and trailer permits
  • Maintaining traffic flow through the site
  • Managing and maximising available space for cars and trailers
  • Tidying and organising the site
  • Resolving all manner of general enquiries.
