Dog Friendly Cornwall

Four legged visitors are also very welcome at Mylor and let’s face it a family holiday wouldn’t be the same without our furry friends.

Five of our eight self-catering holiday properties are dog friendly and dogs and people are welcome all year round. Our specific dog friendly holiday homes are:

Kingsmoor Cottage (sleeps 6)

Cornwallis (sleeps 6)

Effingham (sleeps 4)

Grenville (sleeps 4)

Horatio (sleeps 2)

(Please note: dogs should never be left alone in our holiday properties and dog bedding and feed bowls are not provided and must be brought with you. There is a £25 charge per dog with a maximum of 2 per property.)

Dogs welcome

Cornwall is a fantastic place for dogs and dog owners looking for their next adventure, providing miles and miles of coastal footpaths and beaches to run on, some of which are open all year round.

Mylor Harbourside provides a perfect location for holidaying with your dog with access to the foreshore beside the harbour, and coastal and creek side footpaths with routes across fields and through woodlands to exhaust even the most energetic pooches and their owners.

Our onsite café and restaurant are both dog friendly and provide outside seating areas during the milder seasons. These too are open all year.

Dog friendly beaches

There are a number of beaches open to dogs throughout the year, but some are seasonal between Easter and the beginning of October.

Throughout the county you’re sure to find plenty of places where your four-legged friend can enjoy a cool off with a splash in the sea.
